What Data We Collect
We may collect the following personal data through our website:
- Contact form submissions: Name, company, email address, phone number, enquiry subject, expected production volume and project description.
- Job applications: Name, contact details, CV, cover letter, and other information you include in an application sent by email.
- Technical and security data: Our hosting provider receives the form request and processes technical request data, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. The contact form uses a short-lived in-memory IP limit to prevent abuse; we do not store submissions in a website database.
- Optional analytics: If you consent, Vercel Analytics processes cookieless visit measurements so we can understand which pages are useful. It is not loaded when you decline.
- Communication data: Records of correspondence if you contact us by email or phone.
The form requires your name, company, email address and message so we can identify and answer your enquiry; phone number, subject and expected volume are optional. If a required field is omitted, the form cannot be submitted. Information in forms and emails comes from you. Some technical information, such as IP address and browser information, is generated automatically when you use the website.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process personal data based on:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): For optional website analytics.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): To receive and answer enquiries, assess applications, prevent abuse, and keep the website and our communication secure.
- Pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)): Where an enquiry leads to a request to prepare or enter into a contract.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Where a law requires us to retain or process information.
How We Use Your Data
- To respond to quote requests and customer inquiries
- To process job applications
- To prevent abuse and protect the security of the website and our communication
- To understand which pages are useful when you have consented to analytics
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Specifically:
- Contact enquiries: Normally reviewed and deleted from our mailboxes and related copies 2 years after the last contact. If an active business relationship or legal need requires longer retention, we keep only what is necessary and record the reason.
- Job applications: Normally deleted 6 months after the position is filled, or 6 months after receipt or last contact for unsolicited applications, unless you consent to longer retention.
- Security data: IP information used for the contact form's short-lived flood protection is kept in application memory, not in a contact database.
- Analytics data: Collected only after consent and described as cookieless and anonymized by Vercel; see our Cookie Policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Vercel (hosting and form runtime): Hosts the website and runs the server-side contact form. It may process the submitted form data and technical request metadata as part of providing the service. Vercel is a US company and processing may take place in the US and other countries under the applicable service terms and safeguards.
- Resend (email delivery): Delivers contact form messages, including the visitor's contact details, message, reply address, and related email metadata. Resend states that its primary processing operations take place in the United States; choosing an Ireland sending region does not make customer data EU-only. Transfers are covered by Resend's Data Processing Addendum and the safeguards described there.
- Microsoft 365 (email and collaboration): Hosts our email accounts, where contact-form enquiries, job applications and other correspondence are received and stored. Data is held within the EU/EFTA region.
- Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights.
For the providers' detailed data-processing terms, see the Vercel Data Processing Addendum and Resend Data Processing Addendum.
We use providers only where needed to run the website and handle enquiries. Before publication and when a provider changes, we verify the provider's agreement, processing locations, sub-processors and retention in our internal processor register. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, the applicable provider agreement and a valid GDPR transfer mechanism, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, are used where required.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction — Request limitation of data processing.
