Linimatic casts heavy-duty zinc sinkers for trawl, seine and other industrial fishing gear. They contain no lead, last 5–6 times longer than lead sinkers and come finished, ready to fit — with no burrs to remove. The range spans 50 to 2,000 grams in barrel and ring shapes.

Lead is a cumulative toxicant that affects multiple body systems. Direct skin contact is harmful and can cause allergic reactions and transfer lead into the body. Zinc is non-toxic to people and the marine environment — and lead sinkers have been banned from import and sale in Denmark since 2002.
The sinkers were developed in cooperation with DTU, the Technical University of Denmark.
An automated high-pressure die-casting process ensures very high, consistent quality from the first part to the last.
The very hard surface wears far more slowly than lead, so the sinkers last 5–6 times longer in use.
No burrs, holes or damage. The sinkers can be fitted straight away — without time-consuming deburring first.
Cast at our own foundry in Helsinge and easy to reuse. Weight and hole diameter can be tailored to the customer’s gear.
Both models come in several weights and hole diameters. The type designation gives the weight in grams and the hole diameter in millimetres — TF 300/16, for example, weighs 300 grams and has a 16 mm hole.
