Reshored from China to Denmark under time pressure · Cast in a single process
Frandsen was ready to deliver downlight lamps to the international design company Concrete for the US market when its Chinese supplier pulled out just before production was due to start. Linimatic redesigned the parts for zinc die-casting and got the process running on very short notice — cast in a single step instead of multiple tooling stages, with extra weekend shifts to hold the schedule.

"We had very little time to find an alternative. It looked really difficult. But when we contacted Linimatic and told Torben about the project, he just said: 'No problem, we'll make it happen!' And he said it so calmly. And they did it — we were honestly very surprised at how well it worked out," says Andreas Olesen, design engineer at Frandsen Project.
"It really was an extremely fast process — I have to admit I didn't quite believe it myself. One of the advantages was that the lamps could be cast in a single process, which saved time. So all in all, we got a smoother, faster process — and a smarter product, made right here in Denmark," explains Andreas Olesen. "The fast process is definitely unique for this project. A schedule was set, and only small slips were allowed to stay on track. And the few things that did slip, Linimatic handled with a weekend shift and extreme flexibility. It's very clear that they're skilled at project management — a really positive experience for us on this project. You know exactly how long everything takes — they control the processes 100%."
The lamps were delivered on time for the US market launch, made in Denmark instead of China — and Frandsen now increasingly turns to Linimatic for more projects.
